It should say Makeuporganizer (Ads by google). I'm totally lemming for it. gimme gimme!!! Hi everyone! So about a month or so ago, I had this incredible bento box craze shopping spree (above picture), I stopped by Ichiban Kan in SF and in Berkeley and Daiso in San Jose Eastridge Mall and loaded myself with bento goodies. [they were only about 1.50 each! cheap isn't it?]
For more information on how to make cute bento boxes, visit www.lunchinabox.net (love that site)
I got into this after a friend showed me all the cute bento boxes she made and it made me want to make one myself!
Bento box essentials for preparing food:
1) those aluminum cups/cup cake cups look-alikes are used as separators for your meal
2) antibacterial covers (the hello kitty thing i have (silver and pink)) to keep your food clean
3) cute little toothpicks so you can use to eat your fruits, etc
4) a bento box ( i have several, will post soon, different people have different appetites, and therefore different sized bentos, the one pictured is usually for a female)
6) egg molders (to shape your egg into cute shapes like cars, bunnies, bears, etc)
7) that koala metal container is for patissiers
8) sushi rice shapers, you can shape it into hearts, 4-leaf clover etc
9) soy sauce holder
10) sauce holder (ex. mayo, ketchup etc)

Hurry offer expires tomorrow! I KNOW you guys can buy something! =P
So lately I have not been exfoliating my skin and I ran out of my exfoliating goodies, so I rushed to drugstore.com to buy more stuff and they have a COUPON!
Drugstore.com has a coupon that expires October 31, 2008. If you spend $50 or more on nonprescription items (like lotions, exfoliating stuff) then you get $10 off (and free shipping!). Now, if you spend $35 dollars, then you get $5 off. deal huh? It's supposed to be for new customers, but if you just make up a new drugstore.com account then you can apply the order even if you use the same paypal address. :)

So I've been using this Michaels 50% off coupon like CRAZYYYY this week and last week (they had one last week too). And if you ask the cashier, they may even be nice enough to let you use many at the same time, I bought 15 items in one day (thank you Michaels Cashier!). And I saved $50 dollars on art supplies, yay!!! :)
the deal ends tomorrow! To enlarge image, simply click on the picture!
So I have alot alot to update, including hauls, concerts [(Beck, Spoon, MGMT) they were AMAZING!!!! I'll post pictures up soon], food recipes, everything it seems. I'm really sorry I've just been so busy with school and life in general that I have not had time to post, but I will make an effort to do so.
Two days ago, I met this really nice elderly Japanese woman (she's 88 years old!) who lives across the street from the apartment I'm renting from. I found out that her husband died 20 years ago and she lives alone, with no kids or any family or relatives left. I felt really bad because she told me she was lonely, so I went over and brought some chicken noodle soup that I made (Im a vegetarian so I couldn't taste it, I just followed the recipe adding less sodium). Well basically it's a long story but PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR PARENTS IN A NURSING HOME if it can be helped. She's 88 years old and she's still quite sane and nowhere near senile, but I have worked and volunteered in nursing homes in the past and it's really quite tragic there. Some people keep waiting until the holidays when their loved ones will arrive, and when they do not, they pass away.
I've been super busy I did not even have time to look at other blogs I've been dying to see.
I hope you all will have a wonderful wonderful weekend. :) Take care and smile! You are beautiful.
